Cooltron New Product - High Performance Fans

Cooltron is introducing new high performance fans.  The new series is the Excellence DC Series.  The fans are extremely high air flow and static pressure.

The new DC fans feature higher performance specifications than many of the standard series DC fans.  The new additions also achieve high PQ performance and low power consumption rate.  Through advance engineering, it's PMW curve is also highly accurate.  The fans are also built with a reinforced core structure with metal tubes that are extremely reliable.

The new Excellence DC Series features 48 new DC voltage types with sizes ranging from 40mm by 28mm to 120mm by 38mm in size.  With the exception of the smallest size, each model is available in 12,24, and 48 VDC.  All fans contain long-life ball bearings that have a 80,000 hour life expectancy.  Also built into each fan is an auto restart protection and polarity reverse protection.  All fans are approved by UL, CE, and TUV.

Each Excellence DC Series fan is fully customizable to fit every application.  Additional functions that can be designed into the fan include FG and PWM.  Other options include alarm high/low, auto restart, themistor, and IP protection.  Please consult with your Competitive Components account representative for all your Cooltron fans needs.

TFT LCD (Thin Film Transistor)


TFT products are considered one of the fastest growing innovations in the market. P-tec focuses on providing small to medium sized TFT products ranging from 1.44” to 7” sizes. These displays can be used for applications like MP3 players, mobile devices,digital frames, toys, and GPS devices, ATM machines, self-service kiosks, digital signage, gaming, POS, medical treatment devices, media players, and other industrial control systems.  Depending on custom   Depending   on customer requirement, resistive and capacitive touch panels are optional for most of these products. LCD Glass

Character LCM

P-tec’s wide select on of character LCD products range from 1x8 to 4x40 characters. Each display can be equipped with various color backlight options, display mode options (TN, STN, FSTN; positive, negative; yellow-green, blue, gray; special), different data interfaces (4-bit, 8-bit, SPI, I²C, RS232). Customization is available upon request with a selection of different connectors and cables.




Graphic LCM

P-tec offers a broad range of standard graphic LCD modules including package from COB, COG to TAB; size from 1.0” to 5.7”; resolution from 100x32 to 320x240 dots; and built-in negative voltage.


Backlights


P-tec provides total backlight solutions for LCDs. Our backlights can be designed with various colors, i.e. RED, Green, Blue, Amber, White, Yellow-green, and RGB. The designs can be customized with super low power, long life-time, high reliability, high brightness, super-thin (0.5 to 1.0mm), or with other featured structures such as snap-in tabs, alignment posts, housing, mounting holes, etc.

FS-LCD (FIELD SEQUENTIAL LCD)

P-tec provides sectioned colors that are changeable by using FS-LCD.  RGB LED used for backlight, and 8 vivid colors are available to be chosen from (Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Cyan, Yellow, White, and Black). FS-LCD products are typically used in appliances.

TOUCH PANELS: M3 TFT (INTELLIGENT TFT)

1) Never obsolete to accommodate projects with long-term availability requirement.
2) Simple interface - 8080/6800 - the same as monochrome LCD interface. If a monochrome LCD is used previously, no major changes for hardware would be required. The driving of Intelligent LCDs is similar to SED1335 or S1D13700.
3) Microcontroller is used to drive M3 TFT, where low cost and short product on time can be achieved.
4) Easy to mount, with mounting holes.
5) Optional Blue Mode, White/Black Mode, and Color Mode

• Air Flow - The total cubit of flow moved in specified time.  Air flow is needed to determine the amount of flow required for heat dissipation.
• Air Pressure - The pressure of the flow while the fan is in static mode.  Air pressure is need to determine how much resistance created by the system.
• System Resistance - If the system resistance is small, then a fan with higher airflow and lower air pressure is needed.  If the system is large, then a fan with lower airflow and higher air pressure is needed.
• Performance Curve - The performance curve simulates different operating points to bring out the curve by performance test chamber (typically 8 pts).
